Thank you for using WiseMindAI. We care about privacy and design the product to be local-first: your knowledge materials, notes, conversations, knowledge bases, cards, and most settings are stored on your own device by default.
This policy explains what information may be processed when you use the WiseMindAI app, browser extension, website, documentation, purchases, feedback channels, and support services.
1. Information We Process
1.1 Locally Stored Data
WiseMindAI stores core product data on your device by default, including:
- Imported documents, web pages, images, audio, video, and links
- Notes, knowledge bases, knowledge cards, exams, learning stats, posters, and infographics
- AI conversation history, search history, processing results, and local settings
- Model API keys, plugin settings, sync settings, and publishing platform settings that you configure
Unless you choose to enable cloud backup, external publishing, third-party model calls, feedback submission, or other online features, this content is generally not uploaded to WiseMindAI servers.
1.2 Purchase and Subscription Information
When you purchase or activate a membership, we may process:
- Your email address
- Activation code, membership type, validity period, and device activation count
- Payment status, order status, refund status, and related necessary records
- Necessary transaction information returned by payment providers
Full card numbers and complete payment credentials are generally processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
1.3 Feedback and Support Information
When you contact us by email, form, WeChat, Feishu, or other channels, we process the information you provide, such as contact details, issue descriptions, screenshots, log snippets, or device environment details.
Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unrelated to the support request.
1.4 Website Analytics and Access Data
When you visit the WiseMindAI website or documentation site, basic access data may be processed through analytics, logs, CDN, or hosting services, such as page views, device type, browser type, referral page, access time, approximate IP-based region, and interaction behavior.
This information is used to understand whether pages work properly, improve content, diagnose issues, and improve the browsing experience.
2. Third-Party Services
WiseMindAI lets you configure or choose third-party services. When you use those services, related data is handled under the third party's own rules.

- LLM, embedding, translation, OCR, transcription, and image generation providers
- WebDAV, Nutstore, or other backup and sync services
- Notion, Feishu, Flomo, SiYuan, MoWen, Evernote, and other publishing or sync platforms
- Creem, WeChat Pay, and other payment or order processing services
- Website analytics, CDN, hosting, forms, and community tools
If you enter third-party API keys or authorization details in WiseMindAI, make sure you understand and accept that provider's privacy policy and terms.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve WiseMindAI
- Process purchases, activation, renewals, refunds, and support
- Respond to questions, feedback, and issue reports
- Troubleshoot problems, protect service security, and prevent abuse
- Improve the website, documentation, and product experience
- Comply with applicable legal requirements
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Local Data, Backup, and Deletion
WiseMindAI local data is controlled by you. You can delete content, change settings, export data, or create backups inside the app.
If you enable cloud backup or third-party sync, backup files and synced content are stored in the service you choose. To delete that data, you need to manage it in the corresponding third-party service.
If you want to delete information related to purchases, subscriptions, feedback, or support, contact us using the details below. Some order, finance, or security records may need to be retained for legally required periods.
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information related to purchases, subscriptions, feedback, and website access. Because internet transmission and electronic storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, we cannot promise that any transmission or storage method is 100% secure.
You are also responsible for protecting your device, system account, activation code, API keys, backup files, and third-party service credentials.
6. Minors
WiseMindAI is intended for users with learning, research, and knowledge management needs. Minors should obtain consent from a parent or guardian before using WiseMindAI, especially for purchases, third-party services, online sync, or publishing features.
